Fall Wildflowers
Blooming time: September, October, and Early November

Fall Flowers - Goldenrod, Frostweed and Ironweed on the Gallaher Bend Greenway

Fall is the “grand-finale” of the wildflower season. Fields glow with the yellows of goldenrod and wingstem. Ironweed, Asters, and Joe Pye Weed accentuate the gold with the royal hues of purple. Many plants have gone to seed by late October. Look for berries and seeds and try to decide how the plant spreads them.
